About the Course

1. Can I get the benefit of both Point Reduction and Insurance discount?
Yes, once you complete the course we will notify the Motor Vehicles Commission to remove two points from your driving record. At the same time, you can submit a copy of the completion certificate to your insurance company and your discount will be reflected with next renewal.
2. How long is a course?
The course is written by Hollywood writers and illustrators, consisting of 10 Fun n' Easy Modules; each module is completed at your own pace in as little as 5-minute increments. The state of New Jersey requires that we time the course to a minimum of 360 minutes of instruction. We estimate that each module takes about 20-30 minutes to complete plus the time for the final quiz. There are no maximum time restrictions and you proceed at your own pace in as little as 5 minute increments.
3. How much will I save?
Department of Insurance Bulletin No. 96-07, anyone who presents a Course Completion Certificate to their auto insurance carrier upon renewal of their policy is eligible for a minimum five percent (5%) premium discount on the base rate for bodily injury, property damage, personal injury protection and collision coverage for the vehicle principally operated by the person who has successfully completed the course. Check with your insurance carrier as many carriers offer discounts for up to 10% over a 3 year period.
4. Is there a time frame to complete the course?
Unless you were ordered by the court and/or another referring agency that gave you a specific due date, there is no time limit to complete the course. However if you are taking the course for Insurance Reduction we strongly encourage you to complete the course prior to your next renewal date in order to receive a discount after the next renewal. Please note that while we report daily, it may take up to few weeks for the Motor Vehicle Commission to remove points from your record.
5. What if I don't have any points on my driving record?
You still benefit from the insurance reduction.
6. What if I have more than one driver on my policy?
The insurance discount is issued per driver; to receive a maximum discount each driver on your policy should take the course.

9. What if I don't pass the final quiz?
Quiz questions are entirely based on the chapter material covered, and are multiple choice or true/false. Most courses allow multiple attempts at completing the final quiz.
10. Do I have to be in front of my computer and do the whole course in one sitting?
Nope! You can log out and log back in as often as you want. Because the course is divided into chapters, you can complete a chapter or two, take a break, and come back. The system will remember where you left off and give you credit for the time you already spent in the course.

Yes. Our course works on any of the standard PC and Mac browsers, and even on smart phones, netbooks and other internet devices.

Certificates and completion reporting is handled differently for each state, county and/or court. Additional details will be explained during registration.

Certificate Delivery

1. How do I get my certificate?
Your certificate of completion will be processed the same day. If you prefer to have a printed certificate delivered to you then it will be processed no later than the following business day via the delivery method you select at the time of registration. If you chose email, your certificate will be emailed within 24 hours of completion.
2. What certificate delivery options do I have?

Delivery options for the completion certificate are different for each course. The options available for your course will be listed on the registration page. If your course offers a downloadable certificate, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the document.

For courses offering expedited shipping, the certificate will be sent the next business day following your completion. If you opt for 2nd Day or Overnight delivery, you will receive a tracking number in email when the certificate is shipped.

If you find that you are facing a tight deadline for completion, consider contacting the court for an extension. If you have already received an extension and no others are available to you, then expedited shipping is available for an extra fee. If you wish to change your shipping method, please contact our customer service department for assistance.

3. How long does it take for my certificate to be delivered?
Our certificates are processed Monday-Saturday by 9:00 AM Pacific Standard Time. Users completing after the cut-off time will be processed the following business day. We ask you to allow three to five days for delivery of your certificate via regular first class mail. Premium delivery services are available for an additional fee. Downloadable certificates are usually available within 30 minutes after completion.
4. My certificate is due today. Can I still take your course?

In most situations, yes! Since our course is provided entirely online, if you complete your course before midnight (PST) tonight, it will have today's completion date on the certificate. For courts where the completion data is sent to the court electronically, this is sufficient.

For courts that require that you turn in your certificate, you will want to contact the court. It may help to tell them you are enrolled with a traffic school but need additional time to complete the course and turn in the certificate. In many cases, you can request an extension online - check your court's website.

If you are granted a continuance, be sure to complete the course in time to receive the certificate in the mail so that you can turn it in on time.

5. Do you send my certificate directly to the court?

That depends on the requirements for the state and court handling your citation. In many cases, we send the certificate directly to the student. However, some courts require that we report completions to them electronically.

Check the "Course Instructions" on the registration page for your court. There you will find certificate processing instructions specific to the court you're dealing with.

You can also request your username and password from the Login Page

4. I am done with the material but the chapter timer still has time left. What can I do?
If your course has chapter timers, you must spend at least the minimum amount of time in the chapter so that the timer reaches 0:00. Until that time, you will not be able to progress to the chapter quiz. If you are a fast reader, we recommend that you take extra time reviewing anything that is emphasized, bold, highlighted, colored or boxed as well as the Let's Review. If you still have time to wait, please enjoy one of our Comedy Break videos.
