How long will it take me to complete
this course?
|
Though course lengths vary from state to state, our typical course consists of 10 easy modules each 20-30 minutes in length. You start a short video, read supporting text and take a simple quiz on material covered. You can print your text material to review later or during quiz. We also offer a DVD and Classroom option in some jurisdictions.

I Have a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) can still take your course
|
In California Vehicle Code Section 42005 prohibits drivers with class A, class B and commercial class C drivers license from attending traffic violator school for the purpose of dismissing and suppressing traffic violations from a driving record. You can take our course if you are ordered by supervisor or judge, but points will still appear on your driving record.

What If I don't pass the Final Quiz
|
Quiz questions are entirely based on the chapter material covered and are multiple choice. And if you really need it, you get multiple attempts. We have yet to have a student who took our course fail the final quiz...

Is your website secure?
|
Yes. An encrypted SSL connection requires all information sent between a client and a server to be encrypted by the sending software and decrypted by the receiving software, thus providing a high degree of confidentiality. Confidentiality is important for both parties to any private transaction. In addition, all data sent over an encrypted SSL connection is protected with a mechanism for detecting tampering--that is, for automatically determining whether the data has been altered in transit.

TECHNICAL TROUBLESHOOTING

The pages on your site are not
loading. What should I do?
|
If the pages for our site are not
loading completely, you may want to disconnect your internet connection and
log back in. This type of problem is typically caused by your Internet
Service Provider or ISP and web traffic. If you continue to experience
problems, we recommend disconnecting and returning at a later time to
complete the course when internet traffic is not as heavy. If you are still
having problems, you may call customer support at 800-660-8908.

Do I need any special software to
take this course?
|
You do not need any special software to use our course. All you need is a web browser and a connection to the internet. There is no software to download and nothing saved to your hard drive.

I forgot my password. How can I find
out what it is?
|
If you provided a valid email
address upon registering for the course, your login and password was emailed
to you. If you do not have access to email, or did not provide an email
address at registration, please contact our Customer Service at 800-660-8908.

I am done with material but chapter timer still has time left
|
You cannot forward to the next chapter until the timer at the bottom of your screen reaches zero. However, if you are done with your material you can use the time to review or enjoy our COMEDY BREAK.

CERTIFICATE DELIVERY
|

What certificate delivery options do I have?
|
We offer various delivery options. Your course tuition includes regular mailing of your certificate. For your convenience, we also offer premium delivery services for an additional cost. Overnight delivery costs an additional $35.00 and will be delivered the next business day. Two-day express delivery costs $20.00 and will be delivered the second business day before 5 PM. If you live in a rural area, delivery delays may occur. You may also choose priority mail for an additional $6.00. You only need to pay for premium delivery if you are against the deadline and can't get extension to complete... otherwise its FREE

How long does it take for my
certificate to be delivered?
|
Our certificates are processed Monday-Friday at 12 Noon Pacific Standard Time. Users completing after 12 Noon will be processed the following business day. We ask you to allow 3-5 business days for delivery. Premium delivery services are available for an additional fee.

My certificate is due today. Can I
still take your course?
|
Time allowed for completion of
courses and deadlines for submitting certificates of completion vary from
court to court. We urge you to contact your court for this information to
avoid taking this course and not receiving credit from the court.
|

Do you send my certificate directly
to the court?
|
Each state or court has specific requirements
for the processing of certificates. In most cases, we send the certificate
directly to the student.
|

I Got My Certificate – Now
What?
|
With a few exceptions it is usually your responsibility to turn
a copy of the certificate into the Court. If you took any one of our
classroom courses, then you must turn in a copy of your certificate yourself.
The same applies if you took our home study course in any other County except
LA. If you are an LA County home study student then we fax a copy of your certificate
directly to the Court on your behalf. We do recommend that you follow-up with
the court because as with any fax, we know we sent it, but we can't tell you
what happened on the other end. You should check to make sure your records
are updated to reflect that you completed traffic school.

I Need A Copy Of My Certificate
(Classroom Course).
|
We can issue a new certificate if
your original was lost or stolen. This new certificate is a replacement of
your old one. All the information on the new certificate MUST match the
original information on the original certificate. There is a $4.50 charge to
issue a new certificate. To order a new certificate please call us at:
800.257.3921 Your original certificate will be reported to the DMV as
lost/stolen and will be voided. So if you should find it somewhere down the
line, then be sure to destroy it as it is no longer valid. The process is a
lot like when you stop payment on a check. The original is void, and the new
one replaces the old one.

I Need A Copy Of My Certificate

If you have lost your certificate or
in contains incorrect information, you may contact a customer support
representative at 1-800-660-8908 to request a certificate reprint.

I Took Your Home Study Course, but I
Have Not Received My Certificate Yet, What Is The Holdup?
|
Two key things need to happen before
we can issue a certificate of completion. Did you return the course/exam to
us? And if so, did you pass? If you answered Yes to both of those questions
then your certificate is probably in the mail. If you opted to have it
emailed to you, then you should check your spam filter/folder. The
certificate is an attachment and some overzealous spam filters like to weed
out our very important email to you. If your certificate was mailed it might
just be in transit.

How do I make my payment?
|
You may make your payment online by using a credit card or a bank debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. If you are uncomfortable submitting your payment online, you can contact our customer support representatives at 1-800-660-8908. AVAILABLE COURSES

I want to take a course to get an
insurance discount. Do you offer courses for seniors or others who want
insurance discount training?
|
Yes! It varies by state who is allowed to take a course for an insurance discount. (In some state only drivers age 55 and over are eligible to receive an insurance discount by completing a course.) Please confirm with your insurance agent.

How Does The DVD Course Work?
|
The DVD course is easy – Just
pop the DVD in, grab some popcorn and sit back! We are the only DVD course
that's taught by a comedian. You will have fun while learning to be a better
driver ...and it's easy! But before you order it please make sure that your
Court has approved our home study course. If you are not sure, our web site
will guide you through the process. Once you select CA you will be asked
which Court referred you. Only those course formats approved by that court
are offered to you. The exact configuration of your course depends on which
Court referred you. In some cases you will have 2 courses (Level II); in some
cases you will have both a quiz and an exam. Regardless, as you watch the DVD
(s) the instructor will give you the answers to validation questions that you
must mark on an answer sheet as you go along (this is how the Court is
assured you watched the whole thing). Afterwards there will be a final exam
with multiple choice and true or false questions. Once you have completed the
course and filled out the final exam/validation form you simply mail it all
back to us. We process your completion approximately 1 business day after
receiving your package.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

What is the course completion
policy?
|
You must complete all phases of the
approved curriculum in order to receive a certificate of completion. Any time
missed must be made up. The school is prohibited from issuing a certificate
of completion if the student has not met all the requirements for course
completion and a student shall not accept a certificate under such
circumstances.

What is the course
cancellation/refund policy?
|
All refunds will be mailed out or credited back within 10 days following receipt of a permissible request for cancellation, prior to issue of completion certification. You can request a refund for ANY reason prior to issuance of the completion certificate.
